CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police were in a standoff with a wanted suspect Thursday morning who refused to surrender for arrest. The suspect was barricaded in an apartment on Jones Street, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, who dispatched its SWAT Team and negotiators to the scene. The suspect eventually surrendered around noon, CMPD said.
